More like “INSERT BOAST HERE”, am I right?

By my precise calculations, in the 8,253 emails I’ve sent you…

… I’ve never actually boasted about any of my accomplishments.

I never bragged about that time I got ID’ed when I was 22…

Not once have I told you about still knowing ALL the words to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This”.

I never even told you about the time I walked past a man washing his car and resisted the temptation to yell out “YOU CAN DO MINE TOO IF YOU LIKE?”

Nope. For the best part of the 12,376 emails I’ve sent you, I’ve managed to keep my horrific ego in check…

… until today.

Time to unleash the beast…

Ready? Here goes…

So I got a message in Slack (God, I’m kewl) this week. Here it is in all its unedited glory:

Ariana’s right – that IS pretty fucking great – especially for a first go.

3.9% to 8.9% may not sound like much, but let’s have a look at what’s really going on here…

We’ve more than DOUBLED the number of conversions they get from one email.

One AUTOMATED email.

An email that, once I’ve written it, will always be there working for them, like a tiny, hyperactive salesman.

An email that, even if the owner were to travel to Margate, get run over by a Holland’s Pies van being driven by a man named Martin and spend 3 weeks in a coma…

… would STILL be earning him money.

There’s even more though. You see, the real power is that this email is CONNECTING better with their customers.

It’s moving them – automatically – along the know, like and trust conveyor belt – without the company having to lift a finger.

They’re getting more money and building stronger relationships with their customers…

… from just ONE email in a welcome sequence.

This is the power of email automations. If you haven’t got any running in your business at the moment, I’d strongly recommend you start.

It is, hands down, one of the easiest, biggest wins you can get.

Welcome sequences…

Abandoned carts…

Win back sequence…

Browse abandonment…

VIP sequences…

There’s a whole host of the blighters to choose from.

If you have an e-commerce store, start with an abandoned cart sequence. Create a short sequence of three emails to entice shoppers back into your store.

If you’ve got a service-based business, put together a welcome sequence that delivers value and naturally leads them to one of your products or to book a call with you.

Big rocks, 80/20, Vital few…

.. doesn’t matter what you call it, automation sequences can be your new best friend.

(not the one that ran off with your wife… the OTHER one)

Oh, and if you want Ariana Grande’s favourite copywriter to help you put one together, hit reply and I’ll make sure to connect you. 😉
