Nothing of value here

I can’t believe I haven’t told you about my new podcast.

“Oh god…”

Before you get your hopes up (“oh don’t worry, we weren’t!”), it’s not about business, marketing or comedy, so if you were hoping for a regular dose of aural wisdom relating to one of those, this ain’t one to add to your list.

(Man, I’m awesome at selling myself, aren’t I?)

The podcast is one of those “passion projects” you’re always reading about in self-help books, where my good friend Andy and I sit down and try and figure out how to get a little bit better at life.

I’d love to give you a more specific description than that, but, as it’s early days, that’s as good as I can do.

Andy and I are both magicians, so we have a lot of free time during the week. If you’re a lazy sod, being a magician is the dream life. Trouble is, neither of us is the kind of person to stay in bed until 11am and sit on our backsides, watching TV all day.

That’s right, we’re those annoying people who get up early, full of pep, looking for things to do, make and try.

Hence the podcast – a weekly show where we can explore new things, try new tips and report back on how they worked.

For us, it’s a way to hold us accountable, to keep us off the streets and stop us annoying our wives so much that they end up killing us.

What’s in it for you?

I don’t know. Maybe you’ll discover a new tip and hack to make your life easier. Maybe it’ll be some light comic relief for your commute to work. Maybe it’ll serve as a reminder that no matter how bad your life gets…

“it could be worse. I could be one of THOSE guys!”

The first couple of episodes are available to download now from the usual podcast downloading places (do I know tech or what?).

Or you can go here:

I’ll warn you now, the first few are bound to be weird and awkward, but it’s been a fun journey to get here, so I hope you’ll give it a listen.

/blatant pitch.

Have a great weekend,

P.S. This email contains no value at all. Apart from this bit. To offset my pitchiness, I’m happy to help with any copy/marketing/comedy issues you might be having at the moment.

So… what are you struggling with? How can I help?
